COOKANNA 11 SETTEMBRE

 Una data che molti voi vorranno dimenticare , anche perche oramai è segnata nei libri di storia di tutto il mondo, io ho pochissimi ricordi di quel giorno, qui in italia erano le tre del pomeriggio quando successe, era una giornata nuvolosa, ero andata con il mio babbo a fare dei dei distributori automatici e io 15 enne lo aiutavo un pò… ricordo che durante il pranzo, ci fu un edizione straordinaria su new york e le torri gemelle… mio padre sospiro, e si chiede come mai la famiglia che gestiva quell’immobile lo avesse permesso… all’inizio non capivo di cosa stesse parlando… poi col tempo ho compreso. Il disastro aereo che aveva abbattuto il complesso che era situato nella parte Sud dell’ isola di Manhattan, nel Lower Manhattan era famoso in particolare per l’eccezionale evidenza delle Torri Gemelle ( Twin Towers ), inaugurate il 4 aprile 1973 e distrutte negli attentati dell’11 settembre 2001. 

Ma a quanto pare la storia era stata forzata dai Media, secondo mio padre. 

La sua teoria (che poi è risultata vera negli anni) era le twin tower sarebbero comunque collassate perchè edificio vecchio e proprietà del gruppo Saudi Binladin Group, una famiglia di costruttori di immobili. E quindi l’escamotage per rimpinguare le casse americane con una guerra, e abbattere dei vecchi edifici e far fare un nuovo progetto al nuovo architetto e con una nuova torre più costosa al mondo l’ha vinto chi? Ma ovviamente lo stato e chi ha perso? i 3000 morti e gli 6000 che si sono ammalati in seguito….

Dato certo che tutto il personale ebreo-saudita quel giorno non era a lavoro… 

Fortunatamente l’ingegnere giapponese che nel ’70 le aveva costruite, il progetto architettonico ha effettivamente salvato delle vite. Questi grattacieli sono stati progettati con ridondanze, anticipando che un piccolo aereo potrebbe penetrare accidentalmente nella pelle del grattacielo e l’edificio non sarebbe caduto a causa di quel tipo di incidente.

Entrambi gli edifici hanno resistito all’impatto immediato dei due grandi velivoli diretti alla costa occidentale l’11 settembre. La torre nord è stata colpita alle 8:46 ET, tra i piani 94 e 98, non è crollata fino alle 10:29, il che ha concesso alla maggior parte delle persone un’ora e 43 minuti per evacuare.Anche la torre sud è stata in grado di resistere per ben 56 minuti dopo essere stato colpito alle 9:03 ET. Il secondo jet ha colpito la torre sud ai piani inferiori, tra i piani 78 e 84, che ha compromesso strutturalmente il grattacielo prima della torre nord. La maggior parte degli occupanti della torre sud, tuttavia, iniziò a evacuare quando la torre nord fu colpita. Ed i sistemi creati hanno resistito anche se 

1. Compromesso l’isolamento che proteggeva l’acciaio dal calore elevato
2. Danneggiato l’impianto antincendio dell’edificio
3. Affettato e tagliato molte delle colonne interne e danneggiato altre
4. Spostato e ridistribuito il carico edilizio tra le colonne che non sono state immediatamente danneggiate

Quando i jet commerciali dirottati pilotati dai terroristi hanno colpito le torri gemelle, circa 10.000 galloni (38 chilolitri) di carburante per jet hanno alimentato un’enorme palla di fuoco. Ma l’impatto del Boeing 767-200ER serie e lo scoppio delle fiamme non hanno reso le torri crolla subito. Come la maggior parte degli edifici, le torri gemelle avevano un design ridondante, il che significa che quando un sistema si guasta, un altro sopporta il carico.

Ciascuna delle torri gemelle aveva 244 colonne attorno a un nucleo centrale che ospitava gli ascensori, le scale, i sistemi meccanici e le utenze. In questo sistema di design tubolare, quando alcune colonne si danneggiavano, altre potevano ancora sostenere l’edificio.

“In seguito all’impatto, i carichi del pavimento originariamente supportati dalle colonne esterne in compressione sono stati trasferiti con successo ad altri percorsi di carico”, hanno scritto gli esaminatori per il rapporto ufficiale della Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). “Si ritiene che la maggior parte del carico supportato dalle colonne guaste sia stato trasferito alle colonne perimetrali adiacenti attraverso il comportamento Vierendeel del telaio del muro esterno”.

MA QUINDI NOI CHE CI MANGIAMO?

Non è che venga una grande fame… vero? quindi ci prepariamo le famose Spaghetti e Polpette…perchè sa di casa…

MA a gli spaghetti alla teramese, ovvero di TERAMO CITTà, li hanno.

TERAMO è IN ABRUZZO è una regione a statuto ordinario dell’Italia meridionale , con capoluogo L’Aquila, compresa tra il medio Adriatico e l’Appennino centrale .

Gli spaghetti sono un pò più spessi degli spaghetti normali, un misto tra i bucatini, e le tagliatelle.

Prima si prepara delle piccole palline di carne macinata con prezzemolo, sale e pepe e 2 uova, grandi quanto una biglia, in forno, mentre con 3 uova , acqua e farina si prepara la pasta, poi si prepara la POMMAROLA ovvero la passata di pomodoro. quando tutti gli ingredienti sono pronti e cotti si uniscono insieme , prima le polpette con pommarola, poi la pasta e si finiscono di cuocere e si saltano in padella per altri 5 minuti… si servono con abbondante parmigiano….

Comunque a me fece tanto impressione la storia degli animali trovati morti negli appartamenti delle persone disperse per via del crollo… erano morti in casa da soli, povere bestie…

A date that many of you will want to forget , also because it is now marked in history books all over the world, I have very few memories of that day, here in italy it was three o’clock in the afternoon when it happened, it was a cloudy day, I had gone with my dad to make some vending machines and I 15 year old was helping him a little bit… I remember that during lunch, there was an extraordinary edition about new york and the twin towers… my dad sighed, and wondered why the family that managed that property had allowed it… at first I didn’t understand what he was talking about… then in time I understood. The air disaster that had brought down the complex that was located on the South side of the ‘island of Manhattan, in Lower Manhattan was famous in particular for the outstanding evidence of the Twin Towers ( Twin Towers ), opened on April 4, 1973 and destroyed in the attacks of September 11, 2001.

But apparently the story had been forced by the media, according to my father.

His theory (which later turned out to be true over the years) was the twin towers would collapse anyway because old building and owned by the Saudi Binladin Group, a family of real estate developers. When the hijacked commercial jets piloted by the terrorists hit the twin towers, about 10,000 gallons (38 kiloliters) of jet fuel fuel fueled a huge fireball. But the impact of the Boeing 767-200ER series and the burst of flames did not make the towers collapse immediately. Like most buildings, the twin towers had a redundant design, meaning that when one system fails, another bears the load.

BUT SO WHAT DO WE EAT?

It’s not like we get very hungry…right? so we make the famous Spaghetti and Meatballs…because it tastes like home….

BUT at the spaghetti alla teramese, that is from TERAMO CITY, they have them.

TERAMO is IN ABRUZZO is a region with ordinary status in southern Italy , with the capital L’Aquila , lying between the middle Adriatic and the central Apennines .

Spaghetti is a little thicker than regular spaghetti, a mixture of bucatini, and tagliatelle.

First you prepare small balls of minced meat with parsley, salt and pepper and 2 eggs, about the size of a marble, in the oven, while with 3 eggs , water and flour you prepare the pasta, then you prepare the POMMAROLA or tomato puree. when all the ingredients are ready and cooked you combine together , first the meatballs with pommarola, then the pasta and finish cooking and saute for another 5 minutes 

they are served with plenty of parmesan cheese….

However, it made such an impression on me the story of the animals found dead in the apartments of the people who were missing because of the collapse-they had died in the house alone, poor beasts….
